A site that launched on one page and grew with the product.

TLDR Guimini was launching Bluestaff, a Salesforce extension to manage consultants staffing and workload. As they wanted to go to market quietly while the product matured with feebacks, Heka designed and built a landing page in Webflow, showing the product existed and could be demoed, then grew it into a full site once ready.

Overview

Bluestaff is a Salesforce extension for managing consultants, planning their workload, and handling talent acquisition. It is a product of Guimini, a Salesforce agency whose own site Heka had designed and built, and Guimini brought Heka in to launch Bluestaff with the design and the build together. The product was young and the company wanted to bring it to market carefully, so the site began as one page and was extended in step with what the product could show.

Context

The launch was deliberately quiet.

Guimini was bringing a new SaaS to market and chose to do it without much noise. The plan was to keep refining the tool and onboard early customers at a manageable pace rather than announce it broadly, which meant the product needed a public presence long before it needed a full marketing site.

Problem

A young product still has to look like a real one.

A prospect asked to consider a new tool will look it up, and finding nothing reads as risk. Bluestaff needed a page that showed the product existed, was serious, and could be demoed. At the same time, building a full marketing site for a product still taking shape would have meant writing pages around features that were not settled, and starting over later once they were.

Objectives

Be credible on day one, and extendable after.

Establish that the product exists and is credible

A page that reassures on Bluestaff's existence and legitimacy.

Bring in demo requests

The single conversion the launch page was built for.

Grow at the product's pace

A site that could be extended as Bluestaff matured, instead of a full site on day one.
Solution

Webflow website design and build, from a one-page launch to a full site.

Design and build in one hand

Heka handled the website design and the Webflow development, rather than building from someone else's mockups.

A launch page aimed at one action

A single page establishing the product's existence and legitimacy, built to lead to a demo request.

Product modules and solutions by customer profile

Added as the product settled, with the offer presented by customer profile rather than as one undifferentiated pitch.

CMS for the recurring content

Case studies and a blog, structured as collections.

One platform throughout

The full site extends the launch build instead of replacing it, so nothing was replatformed between the two stages.

Outcome

The site grew with the product, on the build it launched with.

The product had a credible public face before it had a full site. Guimini could put Bluestaff in front of prospects during the quiet launch without committing to a marketing site the product was not ready for.

What the site shows now matches what the product does now. Modules, solutions by customer profile, case studies, and a blog were added as Bluestaff earned them, rather than written ahead of the roadmap.

The first page was never thrown away. The full site extends the original build on the same platform, so the early work carried forward instead of being written off.

The site is online. It has stayed up since delivery and is set up to keep growing with the product.
